    NEBOSH Astutis LP807The NEBOSH HSE Introduction to Incident Investigation course via e-learning is delivered in association with the accredited learning partner 807, Astutis. This 7-hour e-learning qualification teaches learners how non-complex incidents can be investigated effectively. By learning lessons and making improvements, organisations can avoid similar incidents occurring in the future and improve their company’s safety performance. The course has been developed jointly between NEBOSH and the HSE.

    NEBOSH HSE Introduction to Incident Investigation Course Content

    The course comprises of the INV1 sole unit, which covers the entire course and provides essential knowledge and techniques to successfully investigate incidents in your workplace, making it safer for your company.

    Element 1:

    Understand why incident investigations are carried out and how human and organisational factors contribute to incidents.

    Element 2:

    Understand how to investigate incidents and confidently carry out investigations.

    Assessment

    The qualification via e-learning course is based on a maintenance incident scenario. Regardless of the learning method, learners are required to watch three witness interviews associated with the incident, examine other information relevant to this incident, and complete the assessment paperwork.

    E-learners will be required to download the assessment template from the course content page inside the course, complete the assessment and send it to the training course provider. The assessment can be either completed by hand or typed.

    Entry Requirements

    There are no entry requirements. NEBOSH recommend a minimum standard of English equivalent to an International English Language Testing System score of 5.0 or higher in IELTS tests.
