CCNSG Safety Passport - Renewal Course
The CCNSG Safety Passport renewal course is for those that have already achieved their CCNSG Safety Passport. Every three years the Safety Passport needs to be renewed and this course is for those with an in-date passport. In April 2022, the renewal rules changed and you no longer have the 3 month grace period to complete your renewal course. Your renewal course must now be completed before the expiry date and you are eligible to renew up to 6 months before the expiry date. If your passport is currently out of date, you will have to attend the full 2-day course.
The renewal course lasts 1 full day and will bring you up to date with safety information and regulation.
What will I learn?
This course is a 1-day training course, which will revise the basics of site safety that relates to engineering construction sites.
Topics covered:
- Safe behaviours at work
- Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
- Occupational health hazards and how to report them
- Environmental health hazards
- Signage and Site Transport
How the CCNSG Renewal Training course is delivered
The CCNSG Renewal Training course will be delivered through in-person training in a classroom environment with a trainer who will guide you through the revision material for your assessment.
Once you have passed the CCNSG Renewal course
Once you have completed the renewal course, your receive a new Safety Passport and you three year passport duration will restart.
