Part 2 of IOSH Managing Safely – The Practical Assessment

The IOSH Managing Safely course has two parts. A multiple-choice exam to prove your knowledge post-training and a risk assessment, also known as the practical assessment. Our trainer Ian has created a video to assist you in completing your IOSH Managing Safely Practical Assessment. This video comes straight from our eLearning platform in which delegates can take the course in their own time, anywhere they please. We advise you to watch and follow the video when completing your practical assessment.

A new video will be available soon.

Having completed 2 days and copious amounts of reading, thought I’d challenge myself… 23/25 and understanding the two failures are simantics I’m pleased with that!

I have just completed the IOSH Managing Safely Mock Test for the first time, prior to me participating on the 3 day virtual course at the end of the month and I scored 21/25. I’m pleased with that and understand where I have got confused.

I just took the mock test. Can I double check that this is correct – question 13, I put ‘contact’ but was marked as incorrect with the correct answer being ‘system’?

    • Amy Glover

      Hi Susan,
Thank you for contacting us about this – you are correct! Question 13’s answer is indeed ‘contact’.
The mock test should now reflect this.

42/44. Pleased with that as it makes my course in July seem a lot less daunting. Probably nothing like the ones that will be asked, but good to know the thought proces is on the right track.

      Hi Paul,
Great score on our Mock Test! Obviously our mock will not be the questions you encounter on the day of your assessment. However, they are accurate with regards to what objectives are covered on the course, and what you may be asked about in your test.
Good luck on your course in July,
