S005 – PIA Pole Survey

The S005 PIA Pole Survey course is for engineers and contractors working on Openreach infrastructure to gain their S005 Pole Survey certification. The course takes two days to complete, and the accreditation lasts for three years.

Learning Modules for the S005 PIA Pole Survey course

The S005 Pole Survey course covers three modules.

• Module one aims to develop delegates' knowledge of the Openreach Overhead Infrastructure.
• Module two aims to give delegates the skills needed to safely carry out a PIA Pole Survey.
• Module three will have the delegates demonstrate their knowledge of competency required to complete an effective PIA Pole Survey.

PIA S005 Entry Requirements

To be able to attend and complete the S005 PIA Pole Survey course, you will need to have previously completed and hold the SA001 Overhead Safety certificate.
