PASMA stands for Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturers Association.
The PASMA Standard Operator’s Course is designed to instruct up to a maximum of 12 delegates at a time.
Many people are injured each year when they fall from towers or when the tower they are using overturns.
The Working at Height Regulations 2005 states that a mobile tower must be erected, dismantled and altered by people who have been trained and are competent to do so. Those using mobile towers should also be trained in the potential dangers and precautions required during use.
Mobile tower provision and use must be properly managed and include rigorous inspections and regular checks.
