Summary
The 1 day Working in Low Risk Confined Spaces (6160-01) course will provide delegates with the practical knowledge and skills to carry out safe entry into a confined space and to handle reasonably foreseeable hazards and risks.
You will have the opportunity to get practical experience working in low risk confined spaces. The course incorporates entry and self-rescue procedures.
Who is the course for?
This course is designed and suitable for managers, supervisors and operatives who may need to demonstrate confined space risk assessment qualifications towards competence in confined space entry.
The low risk course is ideal for anyone entering a confined space where entry and exit is easy with natural ventilation.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, although you will need a good understanding of spoken and written English. A certain level of physical fitness will be required. If you have any worries or concerns please call or chat with us online.
Assessment
You will complete one practical observation, assessed by your centre trainer and one short answer written test to achieve their City & Guilds qualification. For in-house courses you will be assessed throughout the course by your trainer and earn a Project Skills Solutions Working in Low Risk Confined Spaces certificate.
Special Considerations
The delegates can have questions read to them. They can also provide answers verbally which can be written down for them however it has to be recorded on a voice recorder for IQA purposes (HR Training are the only people that do this)
