With the Site Safety Plus course, you will gain a CITB Site Safety Plus certificate. Certification for this course is valid for five years. To remain certified in this area you will need to retake the course before the expiry date.

Furthermore, the Site Safety Plus course is required for those seeking to gain a Green Labourer card. The Health & Safety Awareness course is classroom-based and can be completed before or after the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test.

If you choose to attend the course before your CSCS test, it can be a helpful revision session to assist you in passing. The course can also be a refresher for those returning to the industry.

What Qualification Will I Gain From The SSSTS Course?

With the CITB SSSTS course, you will gain a CITB renewable 5-year Site Safety Plus certificate. It is essential to note the certificate is valid for five years. However, the qualification must be renewed every five years by completing the SSSTS Refresher course before your certificate expires, or you would need to retake the entire SSSTS course again. Also, please be aware the CITB SSSTS course will not provide you with the CSCS Gold Supervisor card.
